Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, I was introduced to the financial services industry in my early twenties, where I became and independent financial advisor. While working with clients with a more “traditional” financial planning approach I started to look for alternative investment strategies that would help myself and others reach retirement goals at a much younger age.
At the age of 23 I bought my first pre-construction condo, a year later a single family rental, and the following year another single family rental. Fast forward to 2018 I sold my book of business as a financial advisor to focus on my real estate investing business. It was at this time that I also grew my career and started as an independent mortgage agent. I finished my first year in the top 20% at Mortgage Alliance and my second year in the top 10%. I take a real estate investing approach to my mortgage business. My years of experience as a financial advisor have also helped me to develop a balanced approach to real estate investing.
On a personal note, I still live in Kitchener with my family and enjoy playing golf and hockey. Spending time with my family at my Grand Bend cottage is my favourite summer pastime.

Kyle and I have been best friends since we were 13 years old. In our earlier days we worked together at different sporting and electronic stores as sales associates. After we both returned from living in British Columbia, we took separate paths in our professions. I pursued a career as a Personal Insurance Broker. Kyle started to build his real estate portfolio, accumulating properties, and I had the opportunity to insure them all. From this, I grew an interest in real estate investing and mortgages. After a couple of chats I saw a great opportunity for the both of us to team up again. I am now proud to be on Kyle’s team as a licensed Mortgage Agent and Real Estate Investor.

My Name is Terri Legault, In 2014 I turned my first home into a single family rental home and started to invest heavily into real estate and financially planning for my retirement. Through strategic planning and partnerships, I have turned over several properties from single family, multi-family, and cottages. I am now a proud owner of over 20 doorsteps, some long term and some short term rental properties. Due to great success with those properties in 2019 I decided it was time to make the steps towards a career choice that would help to grow my investments and help others to achieve their own financial freedom. When I became a Mortgage Agent and joined the Mortgage Alliance Canada’s Mortgage Choice team, I found a family in like-minded individuals.
